Quantum Entanglement of Paired Socks: Spontaneous Symmetry Breaking in the Domestic Laundry Manifold

Oduya HJ, Castellanos LM.

Journal of Domestic Quantum Mechanics. 2026;5(9):e0501-e0512.

Exactly one sock per pair decohered and tunneled into an unobservable dimension we term the 'Garchin gap' (tunneling probability 0.5 per cycle). No conservation law was violated, only the wearer's patience. The surviving sock was found, in 71% of cases, to be the wrong one.
